Nursery Chef

I have been in the catering industry for 24 years now. Starting as a café line cook and then working my way up the ranks in an extremely busy, high-profile kitchen. My most recent role was at Centre Parcs as Senior Chef de Partie. I have a huge passion for food and believe it is essential for children to learn to have a healthy and balanced diet from as young as possible.

I love working at Monkey Puzzle Astwick because the ladies I work alongside are so lovely, always friendly and chatty and they all have such a genuine passion for the children in their care.

In my spare time, I am all about family. I am a busy mum and aunt, spending every spare moment making memories with them. I also have two beautiful dogs that keep me on my toes. I love musical theatre and have been known to throw out a song or two, often singing as I work!

An interesting fact about me…

I was once part of a small team of chefs to cook for Princess Anne.
