EYFS Teacher & SENCO

I have worked in Childcare for the last 16 years. Within my experience I have enjoyed working in different sectors including Children’s Centre’s, an after school club and within private day nurseries. I have managed settings prior to starting at Monkey Puzzle and decided to take a step back and have a baby.

I love being able to teach children new opportunities and watch them use the skills and information that I have taught them, not only in their play but everyday life.

I have loved working at Monkey Puzzle for the past 3 years where I have developed the Pre-School room and have been able to lead and train a new staff team. I have loved being able to share my knowledge and experience with others and be able to get my teeth back into my Early Years Teacher role.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family – a very active two year old keeps me on my toes!

Interesting fact about me…

For four years in a row, I volunteered as a young carer for a charity taking physically disabled adults skiing in Austria for a week.
