In Buttercups we nurture curiosity, confidence and connections through hands on, nature-based learning for 2-2.5 year olds where we utilise our beautiful farm and outdoor space. Our environment is a safe and stimulating space where our children explore the world through play, discovery and meaningful relationships.

The Buttercups Room at Monkey Puzzle Astwick is a nurturing space where exploration, relationships, independence and outdoor learning are at the heart of everything we do. Children are encouraged to express themselves, make choices and build confidence as they learn to manage emotions and develop turn-taking skills through play. We support language development with daily conversations, songs and rhymes, while fine and gross motor skills are strengthened using a variety of tools and activities both indoors and outdoors.
Little ones enjoy exploring books and making connections between pictures and real-life objects, as well as discovering patterns through nature and daily routines. We celebrate diversity through stories, music and food, and inspire creativity through expressive arts and design, including role play, sensory experiences, singing farm songs and creating with natural materials collected on our walks.
