Our nursery provides a nurturing home from home environment, for children aged 3 months through to pre-school age. With an emphasis on learning through play, our carefully selected team of practitioners ensure your child is cared for in a safe, secure environment with planned activities to keep them engaged whilst having lots of fun.

We are located on a working farm, meaning our children have access to a whole farm and all the adventures that it is able to bring them. Additionally, we have a trained forest school leader in our preschool room to take children on daily forest school sessions and a lead staff member in 2-3’s that has trained in outdoor learning, meaning our older children get to spend lots of time outside learning in our beautiful environment that includes streams, fields, woodland and exploring nature’. We are extremely blessed that our older children at Astwick are not confined to being inside all day and can run, climb and explore our great outdoors each day. Our little ones go out too, but we don’t take them as far as their little legs get tired, so time outside learning on the farm, increases with their age and energy!

We have dedicated rooms for our various age ranges and each room reflects the seven areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. We have free-flow access all year round to our purpose built garden where children can continue their learning but more importantly have fun, jumping in the sandpit or making mud pie in our mud kitchen!

No hidden extras, everything is included in our fees, from freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, tea, snacks, and drinks, to premium branded nappies, wipes, and creams. Menus are carefully selected by our on-site chef to meet the energy and nutrition requirements of growing children, plus there are also extremely delicious!
